iPhone 8, 8 Plus And iPhone X Edition Expected From September 12


The 10th anniversary of the iPhone is within a few days and apple is all set to make us happier by launching three new iPhones with the company holding an event on September 12 at Steve Jobs Theater in Cupertino, California.

While the release date of all three iPhones is known, it seems there’s still confusion over the official name of the devices. Thanks to a leak of the iOS 11 firmware, we now know the names of all three iPhones. However, the two iPhones will just be iterative updates of the previous edition. The phone to look forward to however is the anniversary edition that is rumored to be called the iPhone X Edition while the others are to be called the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus.

Apple iPhone 8 runs iOS,10 and features a 5.0 inches OLED 1080 x 1920 pixels display and a Yes 4GB RAM Apple A10 processor paired with and 64 GB / 128 GB / 256 GB native storage capacity.

The Apple iPhone 8 boasts of a 12MP main snapper at its rear and an 8MP front-facing selfie shooter. There is a Non-removable Li-Po 2390 mAh battery powering the phone with support for USB Yes, v3.0 .

The anniversary special edition of iPhone, monikered as iPhone X will feature 3GB RAM. The iPhone X will be a complete departure from the iPhone 7 series, featuring an all-new design, a new OLED screen that covers nearly the entire front of the phone, facial recognition, no home button,  advanced dual-camera setup, and improved augmented reality capabilities. This model could be expensive, as it may be priced upwards of $1000 (or approx Rs 65,000) for the base variant. All the three phones will be launched on Sept 12.
